Temp Summer Child Care Staff Fort Langley

Taylin Child Care is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic temporary staff member to join our team at our Fort Langley location for the summer months.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children between the ages of 5 and 10 years old and be passionate about creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and engaging children in daily activities
• Implementing program plans and recreational activities
• Communicating professionally with parents and guardians
• Working collaboratively with other team members
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care
• Setting up and cleaning up activities and classroom spaces
• Leading and managing a group of 6–10 children independently
• Encouraging outdoor play and participation in activities

Qualifications:

• Experience working with school-aged children
• Positive attitude and high energy level
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Must enjoy spending time outdoors and participating in active play
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a safe environment

Future Opportunities:

This temporary summer position may lead to a part-time opportunity beginning in September, with after-school hours typically from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
