Staff Pharmacist

Sweetgrass Pharmacy & Compounding is expanding! We’re seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our Carolina Park team (with occasional coverage at our Seaside Farms location). Whether you're looking for full‑time or part‑time hours, we’d love to meet you.

• Fast-paced environment: We fill between 800–1,600 prescriptions per day, averaging over 1,100/day.

Preferably you have:

• Experience in an independent/community pharmacy

• Proficiency with Pioneer RX and Pharmetika (Farmedica)

• Deliver outstanding patient counseling—by phone, text, or in person

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations (inventory, prescriptions, staff coordination)

• Educate patients on medications, side effects, and healthy habits

• Provide MTM services and collaborate with healthcare providers

• Administer vaccines as needed

• Manage prescription workflow and narcotics inventory

• Maintain compliance with lab standards

• Process prescription orders, communicate with providers, and perform final checks

• Counsel patients and respond to pharmacy inquiries as needed

• Handle other duties as assigned, supporting overall pharmacy function

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in SC

• Independent or community pharmacy background preferred

• Experience in compounding is a plus

• Proficient with Pioneer RX and Pharmetika is highly desired

• Strong attention to detail and data‑entry accuracy

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–6:30 pm; Saturdays 9 am–2 pm (rotational schedule)

• Compensation: Commensurate with experience
