South Campus Kid Zone Attendant

Do you enjoy working with children and creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment? The Marco Island YMCA is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Kids Zone Attendant to join our Youth and Family team!

Position Summary:

The Kids Zone Attendant plays an important role in providing quality childcare for children ages 3 months to 10 years while parents utilize the YMCA facility. Under the guidance of the  Youth Development Manager, the Kids Zone Attendant ensures children are safe, engaged, and having fun in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision and care for children ages 3 months to 10 years.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized Kids Zone environment.
• Ensure toys, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with children and their families.
• Follow YMCA policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
