Social Media & Marketing Manager – Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ & Our New Italian Restaurant | Milwaukee, WI

Solace Hospitality Management runs a Milwaukee restaurant group. Our brands include Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ, with locations on Murray Ave, in Brown Deer and at 3rd Street Market Hall, plus a food truck, catering and stadium concessions. We’re also opening a new Italian restaurant on Murray Ave.

We work directly with content creators and a large marketing firm who build our content calendar. We need a hands-on marketer to run it every day, online and on the street. You’ll post, engage, launch campaigns, and get our name in front of businesses across Milwaukee in person.

Social media & digital

• Post and schedule content for Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ and the Italian restaurant, following the calendar from our marketing firm and content creators
• Reply to comments, messages, reviews and responses to our ads quickly and in the brand’s voice
• Monitor paid ads and pass leads and catering inquiries to the right person
• Build and market the owner’s personal brand on LinkedIn and other platforms
• Create and launch your own campaigns and promotions
• Build and maintain our blog
• Run email marketing through Mailchimp and Klaviyo
• Promote and grow our Toast loyalty program

Guerrilla & street marketing

• Build a list of 10 businesses, apartment complexes or hotels to visit every week
• Visit large businesses, venues and restaurants to drop off catering samples and marketing materials and build catering relationships
• Make sure current marketing materials are stocked and displayed at every one of our locations
• Track every visit and follow up on leads

Requirements

• Reliable transportation (required)
• Must know Metricool, our social media management platform, or be able to learn it quickly
• Experience with Toast, Mailchimp and Klaviyo strongly preferred
• Experience managing social media for a restaurant, hospitality or consumer brand
• Comfortable on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google Business
• Strong writing skills and a confident, outgoing personality for face-to-face sales
• Organized, self-motivated and reliable
