SEO Writer
Summary:
This onsite position is responsible for vendor product research, SEO copy writing, website data review, light graphics work, and assisting with website and inventory corrections.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Improves company website to increase company/product visibility on the search sites.
Establishes and maintains SEO as a critical marketing tool for the company, directing search traffic to company website.
Researches various products on vendor and competitor websites, reporting as needed.
Writes SEO new product copy using data/copy gleaned from competitor research.
Reviews weekly data input by the New Product team, assisting as needed.
Assists with any photography needed for new or existing parts/services.
Uses Photoshop to remove unneeded image backgrounds, saving images for web.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Copyrighting, or other related field preferred. Can be degree in progress.
Previous experience in a marketing department a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Photoshop. MS Access a plus but not required.
Should possess excellent grammar and spelling skills.
Should be a detail-oriented self-starter that is focused and goal driven.
Must have and maintain a positive attitude and be able to work as an effective member of a team, as well as alone.

Working Conditions:
Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also be present. Long periods of sitting and computer screen viewing will be required. Constant use of hand/arms due to computer data entry duties.
