Field Supervisor- Senior Security Technician

As our business grows, Cabco seeks a Field Supervisor for our Security Division to work out of our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia location. A self-starter with a passion for technology, you are comfortable acting as the lead and supervisor to the security team, including mentoring and acting as a technical resource to other technicians to solve problems, implement technology solutions and service existing clients.

Base rate of $64,480 to $70,720 with a total compensation package between $83,490 - $90,990 which includes the following:

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Implementation, installation, programming troubleshooting and integration of structured cabling and premise security solutions (CCTV, alarms, access controls) for commercial customers.
Oversight and direct reporting of 3-6 field technicians
Provide feedback to both Project Estimators and Project Managers to ensure continuous improvement in project delivery.
Provide in-house training for the ongoing development of your team.
Providing ongoing work performance feedback and identifying areas for improvement/training.
Ensure jobs are completed to the quality and safety specifications required, including preparing formal QC reports.
Ensure any workplace incidents are reported and proper health & safety paperwork is completed.
Train customers to use their equipment and provide technical service support (both remotely and on-site).
Qualifications:
5+ years experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting CCTV, alarm systems and access controls.
Corporate certification in Kantech and ExacqVision is considered an asset.
Knowledge of new and legacy alarm systems such as DSC (Maxsys, PowerSeries, NEO, IQ), Honeywell and Paradox is considered an asset.
Knowledge of video surveillance products such as Axis, ExacqVision, Hanwha is considered an asset.
