Primary Job Objective

·         Responsible for the production, quality, and collection of a large loan portfolio consisting primarily of larger commercial loans.

·         Works to develop deposit relationships with business and industrial customers.

·         Loans are our most important earning asset and that which takes the most caution and time. The management of a quality portfolio is critical to our success as errors in judgment at this magnitude will have a dramatic effect on our earnings.

·         This position normally carries the title of VP/Lender or SVP/Lender.

Major Job Duties

·         Loan production - Solicitation and consideration of loan applications & renewals

·         Public Relations and Business Development

·         Collection of past dues

Secondary Job Duties

·         Participating in Bank Promotions and Marketing efforts

·         Attending upper-level officer staff meetings

·         Work with loan processing and/or branch staff

Preferred Education Minimum

·         High School Diploma, equivalent GED or work experience

Specific Skills

·         Business/Computer Equipment, 10-key calculator, keyboard

Normal work schedule

·         Monday-Thursday 8:00 to 5:00; Fridays 8:00-5:30

·         After hours work for collection efforts is routine for this position.
