Quality Assurance Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities

● Follow inspection procedures for incoming material.

● Ensure incoming material meets criteria as specified by drawings or procedures.

● Perform visual check to verify product meets Utility cosmetic standards.

● Follow audit plans per AQL standards for all incoming material.

● Create reports and present them to the Material Review Board (MRB) on all non-conforming material or actions.

● Assist with the creation of Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR)

● All other duties as assigned by Utility Quality Assurance Manager

Qualifications

● +2 years of experience with QA Inspection

● Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)

● Ability to read and create assemble procedures and/or work instructions.

● Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organized presentation

● Use of basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, hole gauges, scales, microscope…)

● Preferred Certification to IPC-A-610
