Public Space Attendant

Department: Property Operations
Schedule: As operations require, including weekends and statutory holidays

Participation in an on-call rotation is required

As a Public Space Attendant at Pacific Sands, you play a key role in keeping our resort clean, safe, and welcoming for every guest. From walkways and parking areas to outdoor amenities and building exteriors, your work helps create a polished and well-maintained environment across the property. You’ll be part of a hardworking team that takes pride in the details and the overall guest experience.

• Deliver friendly, 5-star service when interacting with guests and team members
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of walkways, parking areas, roadways, and public spaces
• Care for outdoor areas, including building exteriors, windows, and amenities
• Operate vehicles and powered equipment safely (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.)
• Maintain garbage/recycling bins, dog stations, and ashtrays
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep of tools, equipment, and structures
• Report maintenance concerns promptly to the Property Operations Manager
• Work closely with Guest Services and Housekeeping to support a seamless guest experience
• Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all resort safety procedures and emergency guidelines
• Participate in the on-call rotation as required
• Support additional property operations projects as needed

• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, safety-minded, and proactive
• Valid driver’s license required
• Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or similar work is an asset
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written

• Physically fit and able to lift moderate weight
• Comfortable bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and performing repetitive tasks
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and work in various outdoor conditions
