PTA Physical Therapy Assistant

Introduction:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients. The PTA will be responsible for developing treatment plans under PT POC, and implementing therapy programs to improve patients' mobility and function. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy programs to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

• Educate patients and families on proper therapy techniques and home exercise programs

• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and documentation

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• PTA valid state licensure

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
