PRN RN-Cath Lab

PRINCIPLE TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be able to apply nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation) in caring for patients.
• Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and health team members.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY: 

• WORK HOURS:  40 hours/week; sometimes more; sometimes less, or as required to provide departmental services as needed.
• WORKERS SUPERVISED: None
• SUPERVISED BY:  Cardiovascular Services Director and with the authority of the Chief Nursing Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:  Graduate of state approved RN School of Nursing.
• Licensure/Certification:  Current license as a RN in the State of Louisiana.             
• Training and Experience:  Previous experience preferred, but not required.
