PreSchool Assistant Teacher

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Preschool Teaching Assistant to support our early childhood classrooms. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with young children, assist in creating a warm and engaging learning environment, and collaborate effectively with lead teachers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in implementing daily lessons, activities, and routines.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Assist children with social, emotional, and self-help skills throughout the day.
• Prepare materials, set up learning centers, and help with classroom organization.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals/snacks, and rest time.
• Communicate positively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or camp setting preferred.
• Warm, patient, and collaborative disposition.
• Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and support classroom management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma required; coursework or credentials in early childhood education a plus.
