Position Overview

St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Pre-K4 Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will prepare students for kindergarten readiness through engaging instruction, structured routines, and joyful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily prayer and incorporate Catholic values

• Teach foundational literacy, math, and readiness skills

• Create engaging centers and hands-on learning opportunities

• Foster independence, confidence, and positive behavior

• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

• Monitor progress and communicate with families

• Maintain attendance and student records

• Collaborate with faculty and administration

• Participate in meetings, trainings, and school events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or related field preferred

• Louisiana certification or eligibility preferred

• Experience in preschool or Pre-K preferred

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Commitment to Catholic mission and values

• Background check and Safe Environment training required
