Pesticide Applicator

ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-Service Landscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. We are seeking to hire a Pesticide Applicator, who will follow standard accepted practices for vegetation management, including reducing invasive weeds from our customers' properties.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Perform walkthroughs of customer properties to identify garden beds that contain invasive weeds.
• Spray herbicides on invasive weeds in garden beds and pull/dispose of weeds by hand.
• Continue to treat areas as needed after proper reevaluation.
• Follow proper procedures for chemical handling, storing, loading, mixing, and applying.
• Uphold on-the-job safety practices and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned, including on-call snow work each winter

WHAT IT TAKES

• Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator License, with a minimum of 6 months of experience with pesticide treatment
• MA or NH Driver's License
• Able to work long hours as needed and in a variety of weather conditions
• Consistent and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with herbicide applications for lawns and/or gardens
• New Hampshire Pesticide Applicator License
• Bilingual (Spanish) communication
