Position Title: Pediatric In-Office Phlebotomist (IOP) – Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Pediatric Clinic (Onsite) Pikeville KY

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented In-Office Phlebotomist to join our team in a pediatric clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience performing venipuncture on children and will bring professionalism, accuracy, and compassion to every patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric blood draws using appropriate venipuncture techniques.
• Ensure accurate specimen labeling, handling, and documentation in EHR.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety, and infection control protocols.
• Provide a calm, supportive experience for young patients and their families.
• Adhere to Solaris and clinic policies and maintain consistent punctuality and attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric phlebotomy experience, 2+ years overall.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with both straight and butterfly needle venipuncture techniques.
