Struction Solutions is seeking an Owner’s Authorized Representative (OAR) II to manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to close-out. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with district and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate pre-construction, bidding, construction, and project close-out.
  • Review pre-construction documents and provide feedback to designers.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate with public agencies and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with district standards.
  • Oversee contractors’ daily activities, review schedules and submittals, and address inquiries.
  • Evaluate contractor change orders, negotiate pricing, and assess schedule impacts.
  • Monitor and process payments for contractors, architects, and engineers.
  • Administer Professional Service Agreements between the district and architects.
  • Ensure timely delivery and installation of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • Oversee DSA certification and financial close-out of completed projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 15+ years of professional experience in Construction, Project, or Construction Management.
  • 5+ years leading projects valued at $20M+.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations (OSHA 30 minimum).

Preferred Experience:

  • Design-Build project experience.
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Experience with LEED-certified projects and CHPS.
  • Knowledge of DSA construction/design processes.

Education Requirements (4 Pathways to Qualify):

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in any field, with CCM certification required within 1 year.
  3. 20+ years of Construction/Project Management experience, with CCM certification required within 1 year.
  4. Valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential (substitutes for education requirement).

Preferred Licenses & Certifications:

  • Registered Architect (California Architectural Board) or Professional Engineer (State Board for Engineers & Land Surveyors).
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential by CMCI.
