As a Nutrition & Support Specialist, you are not just creating meal plans or providing support, you are helping people develop healthier lives and independence.
What You’ll Do
At Ability Matters, your role is centered on empowering healthier, more independent lives.
Create Impact: Provide hands-on support that helps build life skills, confidence, and independence.
Promote Health & Wellness: Develop and implement nutrition and meal plans that improve wellbeing.
Educate & Empower: Teach practical skills like meal planning, grocery shopping, and health food choices in ways that are approachable and sustainable.
Monitor Progress & Drive Outcomes: Track nutrition and wellness progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure services support long-term success.
Advocate for Inclusion: Champion individuals voice, rights, choices, and meaningful opportunities.

What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred especially in nutrition, health sciences, human services, or related field.
Passion for Inclusion: A genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving.
Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in nutrition, human services or related field is helpful but not required. Heart, attitude, and willingness to learn matter most.
