Responsibilities of the Diesel Mechanic / Truck Technician:
- Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines.
- Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
- Test drive vehicles to gauge performance.
- Repair or replace vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other parts.
- Maintain records of parts inventory and service vehicles.

- Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools.
- Must have tools.
