Membership Services Team - Canada Wide 2026
The Membership Services team provides membership support and education on membership for all Co-op members, summer participants, and summer programming, as well as preparation for Fall/Winter membership needs. Membership Services team is responsible for database management, publishing Membership Newsletter, and ensuring the accuracy of membership roll. Working in small groups, or across departments, youth in these roles develop confidence and begin to master skills used in their writing, analysis, and participation in the workplace. These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle. It's a great way to 'level up' in a team setting where your voice and opinions make a difference daily.
Full-time summer employment contracts range from 8 -16 weeks, May through to September. Post-secondary students are welcomed and encouraged to apply for this position as part of their programs requirements for a co-op or work placement. Contracts are funded by the Government of Canada, and offered at the Ontario minimum wage. Please be aware that all positions may not be funded in all locations.
Some roles follow a hybrid work structure where employees both work from home or in person, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks and/or personal work preferences. Working from the office/studio/meeting location is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration. Training and Workshops may be online or in-person, as needed.

Membership Services Manager
The Membership Services Manager oversees and is responsible for all operations and staff within the department. They plan, develop, administer, and evaluate programs and benefits for members of The Co-op. They will also take part in hiring and onboarding processes for their prospective staff, including training and orientation, and will be responsible for scheduling, guiding, and supporting the departments work and goals. In addition to these responsibilities, the Membership Services Manager will plan an active campaign for public education and membership drives and plan Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Membership Services Coordinator
Membership Services Coordinators plan, develop, administer, and evaluate programs and benefits for members of The Co-op. Provide education on membership benefits.. Typical Work Hours
Regular hours Tuesday - Sunday
Rotational coverage for evenings and weekends as scheduled
