Shift: Dayshift 

 
 

Position Summary 

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (KMA) to join our night shift team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky. 

Our focus is on providing respectful, attentive care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The Medication Aide plays a key role in ensuring medications are administered safely while maintaining a calm and supportive overnight environment. 

 
 

Essential Duties 

  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policy 

  • Monitor residents for effectiveness of medications and report concerns to nursing staff 

  • Accurately document all medication administration in the medical record system 

  • Support residents with care needs as appropriate during the shift 

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations 

  • Contribute to a respectful, resident-centered environment 

 
 

Qualifications 

  • Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Kentucky 

  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration 

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight hours 

  • Commitment to professional, compassionate resident care
