Makeup Artist / Licensed Beauty Professional

Robert Andrew Salon & Spa is seeking a talented Makeup Artist to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced artist who is passionate about creating polished, customized looks for everyday beauty, special occasions, photo-ready events, and one-on-one makeup instruction.

Preference will be given to candidates who also hold a current Maryland license in cosmetology, esthetics, or nails and are interested in performing services within their licensed specialty. This is an excellent opportunity for a beauty professional looking to expand their clientele and work across more than one service area in an established, full-service salon and day spa.

• Signature makeup applications

• Special-event makeup

• Makeup tutorials and personalized lessons

• Brow and lash tinting, when appropriately licensed/trained

• Consultations and product guidance

• Prom, holiday, photography, and other occasion makeup

Depending on licensing, experience, and training, candidates may also have the opportunity to provide services in areas such as:

• Hair styling and finishing

• Skin care and facial services

• Brow services

• Lash services

• Manicures and pedicures

• Other services permitted under their professional license

• Has professional makeup application experience

• Creates looks based on each guest’s individual features, preferences, and occasion

• Provides a polished, professional guest experience

• Maintains excellent sanitation and makeup hygiene standards

• Is comfortable educating guests on techniques and products

• Has strong communication and consultation skills

• Is dependable, professional, and team-oriented

• Is available for some evenings and weekends, particularly during peak event seasons

Maryland cosmetology, esthetics, or nail technician licensing is strongly preferred.

Candidates with experience in a luxury salon, spa, cosmetics, bridal, photography, retail beauty, or special-event environment are encouraged to apply.
