Job Description
Position Title: Apartment Make-Ready Technician
Salary - $16 hr
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Apartment Make-Ready Technician to help prepare apartment homes for new residents. This position is responsible for turning vacant units into clean, safe, and move-in-ready homes while working closely with property management and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Complete apartment make-ready turns before resident move-ins
- Perform basic maintenance repairs including:
- Painting
- Drywall repair
- Light plumbing
- Minor electrical work
- Appliance checks
- Door and lock repairs
- Replace fixtures, blinds, and hardware when needed
- Ensure apartments are clean and meet company standards
- Walk units with management to identify needed repairs
- Remove trash and debris from vacant units
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist maintenance team with additional property needs when required
Qualifications
- Previous apartment make-ready or maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Work Environment
