TREO MedStaff is hiring an Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a well-established Pediatric Day Health Center serving medically fragile children and young adults (birth through age 21).

Schedule📅 Full-Time (4 days/week – typically Tuesday-Friday)
🕢 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
🍽️ 30-minute lunch

What You'll DoAs an LPN, you'll provide skilled, compassionate care for children with complex medical needs, including:
• Medication administration
• Assessments and vital signs
• Continuous patient monitoring
• Feeding tube and tracheostomy care
• Personal hygiene and total patient care
• Paper charting/documentation
• Collaboration with nurses, therapists, and leadership
• Family communication and education
• Assisting with housekeeping and laundry as part of a team-focused care model

QualificationsRequired:
- Active Louisiana LPN License (unrestricted)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience caring for medically fragile pediatric patients
- Experience using a Hoyer Lift
- Ability to safely transfer and care for fully dependent patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Tracheostomy experience (training available)
- PALS Certification
- ACLS Certification
