Purpose: Massage Therapists purpose is to scientifically manipulate the soft tissues of the body, consisting primarily of manual techniques such as applying fixed or moveable pressure, holding, and moving muscles and body tissues. It is to remove muscular tension, relieve stress, and improve circulation.
Viewpoint:
The Massage Therapist should create a tranquil environment for patients to relax
The Massage Therapist should be able to complete a 50 or 80 minute service, and stay on time with back to back services
The Massage Therapist should have knowledge of human anatomy
The Massage Therapist should keep track of daily services
The Massage Therapist should have a positive and professional demeanor as well as having a compassionate and relatable outlook towards every patient
Position Skills Required: Time management, understanding of the anatomy, full knowledge of contraindications, knowledge of services covered under the State licensing, solution oriented.
Training Required: HIPPA, Chair Massage, All massage services, checking and responding to email.
Computer Skills Required: Scheduling Software, Google Platform, ADP
**The Massage therapist position is for both the Wall and the Tinton Falls office. ** Massages will consist of Monday and Wednesday in the Tinton Falls office and possible Thursday and Friday in the Wall office with a possible Tuesday in the Tinton Falls office when it gets busier. Could approximately consist of 10 to 20 massages a week between both offices.
