Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 / hour | Job Type: Part-Time or Full Time (30-40 hours/week)
About the Role
Are you passionate about playful learning, active childhood development, and creating a joyful classroom environment? Little Stars Playschool at The nZone - a non-profit ministry of New Life Christian Church - is looking for a Lead Preschool Teacher to lead our vibrant, mixed-age classroom (ages 2–5). In this role, you’ll guide young learners through engaging, play-based activities that foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth in a safe, supportive, and active space.

What You'll Do
- Inspire & Educate: Design and implement an engaging, play-based curriculum tailored to a dynamic mixed-age group (ages 2–5).
- Cultivate a Nurturing Space: Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and positive classroom environment where every child feels valued, secure, and supported.
- Nurture Faith & Character: Lead daily morning blessings, participate in weekly chapel time, and encourage positive Christian values throughout daily routine
- Build Strong Connections: Communicate warm, professional updates to parents and collaborate closely with your co-teacher.
- Ensure Safety & Well-being: Follow all health, hygiene, and security protocols to ensure student safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1+ years in early childhood education or childcare (2+ years preferred).
- Education & Credentials: High school diploma required (Associate degree or Child Development Associate preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Core Skills: Heart for Christian ministry, adaptability to dynamic days, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and ability to pass a background check.
