Janitor/Houseperson

We are presently searching for our next talented team member as a Janitor/Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)
* Ensure the lodge, Loon Lagoon (pool & fitness facility), restaurant, banquet rooms, washrooms and hallways are cleaned to a high standard daily.
* General cleaning of offices, public areas including; vacuuming/sweeping/mopping/dusting/ Sanitizing walkways and stairways, dusting and wiping down high touch surfaces, washing windows, removing garbage.
* Snow removal from building entrances and general outdoor cleaning duties.
* Follow all safety protocols for sanitizing public and private areas.
* Assist the housekeeping team by stripping rooms, loading up carts & trucks and stocking maids' rooms.
* Assist the accommodations team with general duties around the resort.
* Deliver additional linens & guest amenities to accommodations.
* Assist with Housekeeping duties as required.
* Assist with Night Patrol shifts as required.
Job Requirements / Qualifications:
* Knowledge of safety protocols.
* Comfortable with a varying shift pattern, early and late shifts as scheduled.
* Previous experience as a janitor or custodian.
* Good physical condition, as position can be physically demanding.
* Minimum Class 5 Driver's License.
* Excellent communication skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities.
* To meet seasonal demands, you may be required to assist in other departments as needed.
