The Inside Sales Account Manager drives revenue growth through high quality work and exceptional customer service at our strategic accounts.
Day-to-day Tasks and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide premier customer service to provide value daily to our customers (primary with established customer base)
- Execute sales strategies that focus on profitable sales growth both with existing customers and potential customers
- Process customer quotes and orders with keen attention to detail
- Review and understand customer and material specifications (i.e., QQ-N-281D)
- Build relationships with customers through reliable and dependable service
- Be a team player and establish strong communication between Inside and Field Sales, Purchasing, and others within CMI
- Provide technical assistance and solutions for customers
- Research, identify, and implement new products and programs to enhance profitability.
- Adhere to all CMI safety rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Adhere to all CMI handbook policies, procedures, and business codes of ethics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of sales experience
- Market experience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to transfer data accurately
- Strong work ethic; self-motivated
- Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and supplier
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area
- Two or more years of sales and marketing experience
