Reporting to the Mining Sector Manager, the Senior Mid-Term Planning Engineer will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the 1- to 3-year mining plan for the Windfall project. He or she will ensure the production of a mid-term plan that bridges long-term and short-term planning. He or she will develop detailed mining plans to align development and production activities with the mine’s strategic objectives, while adapting to changes in resource models and operational priorities. Based in the Montreal office, he or she will work a schedule of 5 workdays followed by 2 days off. He will be required to make occasional visits to the mine site during the project execution phase (3 years).
At the end of the project phase, the candidate will join the technical services department and will transition to a 7-7 or 14-14 rotation schedule.
