Industrial Electrician

- Years’ Experience Required: Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years of electrical maintenance experience.
Requirements:
- Certified Electrician/Instrumentation Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Technologist
- Years of Experience Required: 4-7 years of electrical maintenance experience. Sawmill or wood products experience preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, with PLC knowledge being critical.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential.
- Electronic Work Order System utilization is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and participate in cross-functional team environments.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights) and weekend availability required
- Perform work order assignments, PM activities, and breakdown repairs.
- Assisting with parts and inventory control and provide periodic updates of work challenges, delays, or completion.
- Troubleshooting and failure analysis skills (formal training preferred)
- Commitment to top performance in a safe work environment is necessary.
- Ensure productivity, housekeeping and quality of work standards are maintained within the electrician’s scope of responsibility.
