HR Services Business Development Manager

We are seeking an HR Business Development Manager to join our rapidly expanding team, focusing on promoting and selling our innovative HR platform and service solutions to new and existing clients.
What You'll Do:
- Proactively analyze payroll client accounts to identify opportunities for expanding HR services adoption
- Partner with internal payroll, customer service, and sales teams to uncover client needs and align HR solutions
- Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and solution consultations with current clients and prospects to position our HR offerings effectively
- Develop and nurture relationships within the local business community, including chambers of commerce, SHRM chapters, and other professional organizations
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and local business gatherings to promote HR expertise and enhance brand visibility
- Build referral partnerships and act as a thought leader in the small business HR space
- Drive new business development by identifying and engaging potential clients through outreach, networking, and industry events
- Present and demonstrate our HR platform and solutions to prospects, emphasizing value and ROI
- Maintain a deep understanding of our HR offerings and their business impact for clients and prospects
- Track activity and opportunities using CRM tools, providing clear insights into market trends and pipeline status
What You Bring to Table:
- Proven success in B2B sales, preferably in HR software, SaaS, or related solutions
- Experience selling HR platforms, HR solutions, or technology services
- Strong understanding of HR processes, platforms, and offerings
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and close deals
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable networking and presenting in both virtual and in-person settings
- Organized with excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to use CRM tools and sales management software effectively
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years HR experience (MBA, MHR, JD preferred)
- 5+ years of HR experience; HR certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP are highly desirable
- Strong discretion and judgment in handling confidential client information
Where You'll Work: This is a primarily remote position, with intermittent visits to our local Payentry office. Must be located in the West Coast or East Coast ( preferably Charlotte, NC).
