Help Desk Specialist II
Payentry is looking for a Help Desk Specialist II to join the Systems department. This role is responsible for installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and resolutions related to hardware and software components the company uses. Successful individuals will have experience and a proven record of working independently and as part of a team to address of resolve technical needs.
What You Will Do:
- Install and configure hardware and software components.
- Resolve any technical issues with hardware, software, or connectivity.
- Perform networking hardware and/or software upgrades.
- Support users online with configuration of workstations, servers, printers, and network peripherals.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics testing.
- Research solutions to current and future technical problems.
- Contribute innovative ideas to the company.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in-person
- Enforce IT security policies and procedures with end-users
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to Table:
- Associate’s degree in computer science or combination of equivalent experience and education 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience troubleshooting systems and learning quickly
- Skilled in database programming and software installation Proficient with Windows products
- Excellent written and oral communication skills Familiar with a range of software and hardware
