V MCGEE INC. is a construction/hauling company, located in Olive Branch, Mississippi. V McGee has worked on many major projects in the City of Memphis and a multitude of Memphis City Airport jobs since 1999. We are looking to hire a heavy-duty operator to join our team!

Skills: Dozer and Excavator Skills Are Required

Responsibilities

• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
• Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
• Observe distribution of materials and indicate low spots for workers to add material.
• Complete assigned tasks, and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

• Must have close vision and distance vision
• Must be able to hear and understand speech to interact with others
• Must be able to speak so that others will be able to understand
• Able to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time
• Able to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach above your shoulder
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, and walk frequently
• Able to work in in-door/out-door climate
