Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring and reporting data, quality assurance and tracking Medicaid claims for the Healthy Start Program.

 

Specific Activities:

Healthy Start Data Analysis

·         Monitor performance, quality assurance/improvement activities and invoicing/services/eligible claims of Healthy Start subcontractors.

·         Coordinate and provide training for subcontracts on performance improvement, data entry and other relevant non-programmatic topics.

·         Conduct regular quality improvement activities and audits through record reviews, data analysis and participation in annual subcontractor site visits.

·         Provide analysis regarding documentation that may affect coding or interpretation of quality of care.

·         Collect, analyze, and interpret data looking for patterns and trends in the analyzed data.

·         Generate and submit reports in a timely and professional manner.

·         Monitor and update as needed Medicaid numbers in Well Family System

·         Develops charts, graphs, infographics, dashboards, and other methods to visualize data.

·         Compile data reports on services, outcomes, data quality, Medicaid claims utilization and trends

·         Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure accurate claims invoicing and budget requirements.

 

Other:

·         Assist in preparation, revision, reporting and implementation of the Coalition’s service delivery plan and annual action plan.

·         All other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

·         Master’s degree in social services, public health, maternal and child health services or related field with at least three or more year’s management, and non-profit sector experience preferred

  • May substitute Bachelor’s degree in social, public health, maternal and child health services and other related field with at least five or more years’ experience management, and non-profit sector experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

·         Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary leadership.

·         Must be able to travel to attend conferences, training and other events, as required.

·         Ability to work flexible traditional and non-traditional hours.

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Coalition partner agency staff, Board committees, volunteers, staff, donors and the general public.

·         Knowledge of Healthy Start, and other local health and human service providers.

·         Knowledge of contract management and auditing.

·         Knowledge of budget and expenditures monitoring.

·         Experience in personnel supervision, management and data analysis

·         Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

·         Must be able to communicate effectively and be a team player at the Coalition.

·         Must be able to commit to the Coalition vision and be passionate about its mission.

·         Requires reliable transportation as travel is required, valid driver’s license, good driving record and automobile insurance.

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, and other federal, state and local standards.

·         Must be able to travel to alternate locations.

·         Required to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear while performing the duties of this job, regularly. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen

·         Lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds.

This position is dependent upon the continuation of funding. As such this position may terminate when the funding is no longer available.
