Group Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer

The Group Fitness Instructor position delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. This role responds to member and guest needs, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the welcome center and fitness floor. The instructor leads group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes individuals of all skill and fitness levels.

The Personal Trainer position is not a sales role. All clients are provided, allowing trainers to succeed as fitness professionals. The Personal Trainer Specialist works closely with the Healthy Living Director to promote member engagement, conduct personal training sessions as needed, and assist in promoting wellness throughout the YMCA. This role provides excellent customer service in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that supports member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
