Graveyard Front Desk Agent

Tahoe City, CA Full-time $22.00-$24.00/hour

Are you friendly and able to work in a multi-paced environment? The Graveyard Front Desk Agent attends to guests’ needs, included, but not limited to, registration, checkout, and cashiering.

Pay Scale

$22.00 - 24.00 DOE

Responsibilities 

  • Greet guests (with a smile) and assist guests during the night;
  • Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude when interacting with guests.

  • Provide guests with appropriate and accurate resort information.

  • Explain and provide any promotional items to each guest checking in  

  • Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by running numbers that are not already in house 

  • Running nightly reports and reconciling accounts.

  • Checking guest in/out.

  • Possess knowledge of reservation policies and procedures;

  • Maintain current knowledge of local area, attractions, events and weather.

  • Responding to guest needs and request.

  • Responds promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met 

  • Complete the maintenance log whenever a complaint is reported 

  • Performing periodic security walks of the property.

  • Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form 

  • Maintain all areas of the front desk

  • Open & close front desk as needed.

  • Cover other areas of hotel as needed 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by front desk manager.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous guest service or hotel experience preferred.

  • Customer service experience required 

  • Strong communication skills required for guest interactions.

  • Basic computer (Microsoft Office) and typing skills required.

  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Previous Audit experience not required.

  • Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts 

  • Attention to detail and organized
