Job Title: General Laborer
Job Summary:
EPSI Worx is seeking a General Laborer responsible for performing various physical tasks to support the efficiency of the operation and worksite. Qualified candidates possess a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The General Laborer will perform a wide range of manual labor tasks, including but not limited to cleaning, lifting, loading, and unloading materials and assisting with general construction or maintenance activities. The role may also involve working in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials.
Assist with construction, maintenance, or renovation projects as directed by supervisors.
Operate basic hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment or temporary structures.
Support the team by aiding as needed and collaborating effectively.
Adheres to all health and safety regulations and uses personal protective equipment when required.
Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or accidents to supervisors immediately.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
1-year minimum of experience in a similar labor-intensive role is required.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks at a high pace.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
