Full-Time Firefighter -Paramedic

The Charlton Fire Department is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening for a full-time Firefighter Paramedic . We are looking for motivated individiuals who take pride in serving their community and want to contribute to the continued growth and success of our department.  Ideal candidates will have experience in the delivery of prehospital emergency care at the Paramedic level, previous firefighting experience, and a desire to be engaged in a team focused organization. Candidates should be compassionate, energetic, and driven to make a difference in the community.  There is no residency requirement.                         

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED    
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to successfully complete the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Training Program or Equivalent and obtain Pro Board certification as FirefighterI/II.
• Possess and maintain Certifications as a Paramedic by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Service or currently enrolled in paramedic program
• Possess and maintain CPR Certification.
• PALS certification
• Career Recruit Firefighter I/II Certification (preferred)
