Full-Time Evening Cook!

South Shore Care Center is looking for a Cook to join the team! The position is full time and shifts are from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. The position is 65 hours a pay period. The ideal candidate for this position has previous cooking experience, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Responsibilities Maintain accurate food inventories Rotate stock items as per established procedures Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts Skills Able to read and follow standardized recipes ServeSafe Certification preferred Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
