Freight Handler (Loader/Unloader) – Weekend Nights
West Jordan, UT

Freight Breakers LLC is seeking dedicated individuals to join our freight handling team. This position is designed for candidates who are comfortable performing physical labor, working in a fast-paced setting, and earning based on productivity.

Freight Handlers are responsible for loading and unloading packages, scanning freight, and maintaining an organized workflow to ensure trailers are processed safely and efficiently.

Trailer Loading

• Place packages from conveyor belts into trailers by hand.

• Use handheld scanners to record freight movement.

• Move cages and freight containers throughout the facility.

• Arrange freight to maximize trailer space and load stability.

Trailer Unloading

• Remove packages from inbound trailers and place them onto conveyor systems.

• Scan and sort freight into designated cages and staging locations.

• Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

• Performance-based pay structure.

• Earnings are based on the number of trailers and cases processed.

• Average pay ranges from $16–$25 per hour.

• Top performers regularly earn $25–$35 per hour.

• Productivity and efficiency directly impact earnings.

• Weekend Night Shift

• Friday through Sunday

• 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Three 12-hour shifts each week

• Additional shifts may be offered when business needs require

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

• Ability to repeatedly lift and move packages weighing 5–50 pounds.

• Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods.
