Back in the day, when the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant was still turning out America’s favorite soda along Indianapolis’ Mass Avenue, Carl Fogelsong was dreaming of serving up America’s favorite burger in Michigantown, Indiana. Fifty some years later, that dream continues to sizzle today in the new Bottleworks District.

Who you are:  The Customer Service Counter Attendant is a tipped position that will work in collaboration with the Manager and GM. The Team Member FOH will work closely with the FOH management team to drive service each day and inspire team members to work together and hold one another accountable to the standards set. The Team Member FOH will display warmth, and hospitality as they perform the Front of House duties and responsibilities expertly and efficiently.  This role could also include administrative work, opening or closing duties, or stepping in to needed roles in the restaurant as business demands. The Team Member FOH can support the full scope of stations capable of rotating in the same shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Greeting customers as they arrive and make them feel welcome.
• Answering questions about the menu and making note of special requests, if required.
• Taking and placing customer orders in the POS system.
• Serving food to diners from a counter.
• Communicating food and drink orders to the kitchen staff.
• Assembling and packaging takeaway orders.
• Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters, tableware, and utensils clean.
• Replenishing food and paper supplies when required.
• Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments.
• Complying with company policies.

Requirements

• Experience in a guest facing customer service role preferred, but not necessary
• Outgoing and fun personality that enjoys interacting with customers in a diverse high energy setting 
• Basic understanding of POS functions preferred
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Sunday availability is preferred
