We are now hiring for ALL of our locations: Stealth Auto Recovery, Excite Towing, Wayne's Auto Powell, Wayne's Auto Schrock, Wayne's Auto Westerville, Mann's Expedite Service, H.I.N.T., Excite Collision Repair, and Ernie's Auto Repair!
As a Heavy Duty Fleet Mechanic, a typical day may include the following:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy-duty vehicles and fleet equipment.
- Performing scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
- Collaborating with service writers to provide accurate time estimates for repairs and updates on progress.
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards to minimize fleet downtime.
- Maintaining detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for fleet tracking purposes.
- Staying up to date on industry standards, tools, and techniques for heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
