EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Develops and/or analyzes intermediate level engineering designs in support of interior completions or modifications

2. Prepares and presents intermediate level presentations

3. Develops and/or analyzes 2D drawings and 3D models in support of interior completions or modifications

4. Prepares intermediate reports in support of interior completion or modification regulatory compliance

5. Prepares intermediate test plans in support of interior completion or modification regulatory compliance

6. Provides basic technical guidance and engineering disposition to department

7. Attends PDR/CDR meetings and provides technical guidance where required

8. Coordinates design solutions with regulatory approval authorities

9. Drives positive engineering culture, leads by example and motivates others

10. Mentors less experienced colleagues and facilitates growth personally and professionally

11. Moderate level of oversight required

12. Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent

2. 5 years of experience working in aerospace engineering design or analysis

3. Valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Intermediate understanding of engineering principles

2. Intermediate knowledge of aircraft installations

3. Intermediate understanding of FAA/EASA Part 25 regulations

4. Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word / VBA

5. Intermediate experience with 2D/3D Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AutoCAD preferred, SolidWorks preferred)

6. Knowledge of documentation standards

7. Ability to convey/present written/verbal intermediate technical concepts

8. Strong communication and problem-solving skills

9. Strong time-management and organizational skills

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Understanding of STC process

2. Understanding of company processes/procedures

3. Familiarity with airframe manufacturer customer portals (AirbusWorld, MyBoeingFleet, etc.)

The office building where this position works is a typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues in the immediate vicinity of the work station. The employee in

this position will experience occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements when called upon to locate personnel working inside or outside of a Hangar.
