Join Our Team
We are seeking a Supervisor, Programs to provide health and wellness programs for children, youth, adults and families. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and delivering a variety of programs, which may include; conditioning centre orientations and management, child minding, rentals, aquatic and dryland classes. The Supervisor, Programs would need to demonstrate flexibility in working a variety of shifts and be committed to delivering high-quality programming that meets the community needs. This is a contract position located at the Placentia Regional YMCA.
Job Requirements
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of the fitness industry. Fitness Leadership Certifications considered an asset
- Experience working with and delivering a variety of classes to diverse populations
- Experience leading and coaching staff teams to provide safe, effective and positive program experiences
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sectors Check
