Dietary Aide

At North Woods Nursing Center, we are a family serving families with the highest level of care and compassion.  Our team of caregivers works together to provide our patients and residents with the ability to reach their highest level of physical and social well-being.  For all of our services, we strive to make our facility feel like a home away from home.

We are currently accepting applications for part time dietary aides/cooks. On the job training is provided for all positions within the nutritional services department. 

The purpose of these dietary aide/cook positions are to provide excellent customer service through accurate and timely food service meeting the residents' needs. Job duties of this position include, but are not limited to handling stock, preparing and serving food, setting up trays and food service carts accurately and timely, assisting in preparing food, answering phones within the dietary department and serving in the employee cafeteria. This position is also responsible for scraping soiled dishes, properly loading dishwashers, mopping dietary floors, and maintaining required temperature logs.

High school diploma/GED required or in the process of obtaining.

Prior dietary experience is preferred.
