What You'll Do
As a Dietary Aide, you'll help provide residents with nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and assemble resident meal trays according to physician-ordered diets and menu guidelines.
• Deliver meals and snacks to resident units while ensuring timely and accurate service.
• Assist with food preparation, including beverages, sandwiches, desserts, and other meal items.
• Help maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, dining areas, and dishwashing stations.
• Operate the dish machine and properly clean, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist cooks and dietary staff with meal preparation and special events as needed.
• Stock food and kitchen supplies while helping maintain organized storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
What We're Looking For
• Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
