Diesel Mechanic - Shipyard

Venture Dynamics is looking for Diesel Mechanics.

This position offers motivated workers the opportunity to work in a fast paced Shipyard environment. Pay will be up to $31.00 per hour.

JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

• Maintains diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Correcting vehicle deficiencies
• Making adjustments and alignments
• Keeping records
• Identifying worn and damaged parts
• Having parts stocked when needed

Additional:

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in diesel engine repair and or outside machinist
• Knowledge of WAF’s a plus
• Must be able to complete work with little guidance from Supervisor.
• Basic knowledge of Standard Items a plus
• Must have basic knowledge of shop equipment
• Works well with others

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years shipyard experience

Must have own trade tools.

Must be a US Citizen

Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Must have reliable transportation.

Need to pass a background check and drug screen.
