Aaron’s Towing & Heavy Hauling is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Position OverviewThe Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform preventive maintenance and repair on fleet vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment in both shop and field environments

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems

Troubleshoot issues on equipment including Kenworth tractors, Freightliner M2 trucks, medium-duty trucks, trailers, and skid steers

Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all work performed

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Communicate effectively regarding repair needs, timelines, and equipment status

Minimum of 2 years of experience in diesel, truck, or heavy equipment repair

Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems

Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality

Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and team-focused

Must possess own tools

Welding experience

Class A CDL (or ability to obtain)

High school diploma or equivalent required
