Junior Software Engineer
Junior Software Engineer
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our development team.
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with a cross-functional SCRUM team to develop our software with an emphasis on Tax and Compliance.
- Work in tandem with other Software Engineers. QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owner to develop new code (primarily in C++).
- Present your work on daily team stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and other meetings, as needed.
What You'll Bring to Table:
- A Computer Science degree, OR relevant work expierence.
- At least 2 years of expierence with the following technologies: C++, VBScript (preferred).
- Expierence developing applications.
- Understanding of relational databases (MS, SQL Server Expierence).
- Expierence with source control tools (GIT).
- Expierence in defect tracking systems (JIRA).
- Commitment to teamwork.
- Superior organizational and prioritization skills while working on tight deadlines.
- Desire to learn and share with others-including excellent documentation skills.
