Pasta Project is a fast-casual italian food concept in the Five-Forks area of Simpsonville. We are currently recruiting Back of House (Food Preparation, Cook, Food Safety) team members for our location. 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to DHEC and Pasta Project rules and regulations and recipes.
  • Prep food
  • Assist in putting away truck orders.
  • Cook food to order.
  • Communicating with management if help is needed.
  • Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and freshness.
  • Prepare catering.
  • Breaking down and clean equipment
  • Responsibilities are not limited to direct job description; we expect all team members to perform any additional tasks asked of them by management.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of food safe temperatures
  • Sense of Urgency
  • Organization, multi-tasking
  • Basic knife skills

Physical Job Requirements

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Physical dexterity is required to clean work areas.
  • Able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
