Pasta Project is a fast-casual italian food concept in the Five-Forks area of Simpsonville. We are currently recruiting Back of House (Food Preparation, Cook, Food Safety) team members for our location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to DHEC and Pasta Project rules and regulations and recipes.
- Prep food
- Assist in putting away truck orders.
- Cook food to order.
- Communicating with management if help is needed.
- Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and freshness.
- Prepare catering.
- Breaking down and clean equipment
- Responsibilities are not limited to direct job description; we expect all team members to perform any additional tasks asked of them by management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of food safe temperatures
- Sense of Urgency
- Organization, multi-tasking
- Basic knife skills
Physical Job Requirements
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Physical dexterity is required to clean work areas.
- Able to work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
